I just read a discussion by various bloggers and readers on how they feel about sharing creativity and the paranoia some artists feel about anyone displaying anything that MIGHT look like their idea. I would like an answer to this question – were they the original creators of their particular craft, not the unique spin they have put on it to create a demand for their product? Can any artist or crafter answer that honestly?

It’s an interesting discussion to watch unfolding! I think there’s a bit of a swing away from the paranoia of the last while (which seemed to start up around the same time as Etsy….) I feel that learning and sharing are more important.
